It has been a year since the solo show keep “In the dark” at Art Center Silpakorn University. Tawan has the shows abroad in many continents. From Taipei, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, New York and Paris until the last solo show of the year in Bangkok.
Tawan's work has challenged many phenomena in society. Whether it's satirical, ridiculed with culture, society, politics, in addition, Tawan often takes part in questioning the twisted history in Thai society and the world society. Fresh brushes combined with a sharp, challenging story. Makes the work of Tawan able to take the story to different lands beyond imagination and interesting.
เป็นเวลา 1 ปีนับตั้งแต่งานแสดงเดี่ยวครั้งสำคัญ Keep in the Dark ที่หอศิลปมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ตะวันเดินสายแสดงงานที่ต่างประเทศในหลายทวีป เริ่มด้วยไทเป โตเกียว กัวลาลัมเปอร์ นิวยอร์ก และปารีส จนมาถึงงานเดี่ยวสุดท้ายของปีนี้ที่กรุงเทพฯ
ผลงานของตะวันได้ท้าทายปรากฏการณ์มากมายหลายมิติให้เกิดขึ้นในสังคม ไม่ว่าจะเสียดสีเย้ยหยันวัฒนธรรม สังคม การเมือง นอกจากนี้ตะวันมักเข้าไปเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการตั้งคำถามกับร่องประวัติศาสตร์ที่บิดเบี้ยวในสังคมไทยเเละสังคมโลก ฝีเเปรงที่สดฉับไวผนวกกับเรื่องราวที่ท้าทายเฉียบคม ทำให้ผลงานของตะวันสามารถพาเรื่องไปยังดินเเดนต่าง ๆ ได้เหนือจินตนาการเเละน่าสนใจ

Chotvitch Suwong, is an independent artist with a background in Decorative Arts and Publishing. His three personal tools are a camera, a computer, and a paintbrush. As a person who has seen the world for a long time and has experienced major transitions over many eras, he has always regarded art as a way of life that consists of balanced and impartial art. Also, he believed that everything would be possible with no more or less, so he presented a series of paintings designed to make his relatives and those who have the opportunity to see if they want to stay still for quite some time and let the colors in front of them flow back and forth to form a place somewhere, to feel the masses and clearly see the cheerful, joyful, and calming vibes before passing away with those delightful memories.
However, the brushes, colors, or papers are just the doors or a bridge, extending from the artist's thoughts, DNA, and experiences.
โชตวิชช์ สุวงศ์ ศิลปินอิสระ ผู้มีพื้นฐานมาจากการทำงานด้าน Decorative Arts และ publication โดยมีเครื่องมือประจำกายอยู่ 3 ชนิดคือ กล้องถ่ายภาพ คอมพิวเตอร์ และ พู่กันวาดภาพ ด้วยความเป็นผู้ที่เห็นโลกใบนี้มาค่อนข้างนาน เท่ากับได้สัมผัสการเปลี่ยนผ่านใหญ่ ๆ มาหลายยุค เขาจึงมองศิลปะในแบบของการมีชีวิต อันประกอบด้วยความมีสมดุล ไม่เอียงไปข้างใดข้างหนึ่ง เขาเชื่อว่า ทุกสิ่งจะอยู่ได้ด้วยความไม่มากไม่น้อย เขาจึงเสนอภาพวาดชุดหนึ่งเพื่อนำพาให้ญาติมิตร และผู้คนที่มีโอกาสพบเห็นได้รู้สึกว่า อยากหยุดนิ่งสักพัก ปล่อยให้สีสันที่อยู่ตรงหน้าได้ไหลเลื่อนไปมาจนประกอบกันเป็นสถานที่ใดสถานที่หนึ่ง สัมผัสมวลได้ เห็นบรรยากาศชัดเจน ทั้งแบบร่าเริง สนุกสนาน ทั้งแบบสงบนิ่ง ก่อนจะเดินผ่านไปด้วยภาพจำที่ดูเพลินเหล่านั้น ทั้งนี้ เครื่องมือที่ใช้สร้างงาน เช่น พู่กัน สี หรือ กระดาษ เป็นเพียงประตู หรือสะพาน ทอดผ่านออกมาจากจิตใจ ดีเอ็นเอ และ ประสบการณ์ในตัวศิลปินผู้นี้นั่นเอง

Where We Belong exhibition by Chayanich Muangthai started from the Covid - 19 situation in 2020, in which we all locked ourselves in our homes for safety reasons. . However, for an artist, this constraint became a source of inspiration that reflects the strong desire to create art. For the future that being peacefully confined at home is neither regrettable nor discouraging, but rather an opportunity to anticipate a better day. In addition to its unique aesthetic works. This exhibition raises the question of how the audience perceives the meaning of home.

Where We Belong โดย ชญานิษฐ์ ม่วงไทย มีจุดเริ่มต้น จากสถานการณ์โควิด-19 ในช่วง 2020 ซึ่งเราทุกคนต่างต้องขังตัวเองอยู่กับบ้านด้วยเหตุผลของความปลอดภัย แต่สำหรับศิลปินคนหนึ่ง สิ่งนี้กลายเป็นข้อจำกัดที่มอบแรงขับอันรุนแรงในการสร้างงานศิลปะเช่นกัน การถูกจำกัดในพื้นที่บ้านอันสงบสุขไม่ใช่เรื่องที่น่าเสียใจและท้อแท้แต่ประการใด แต่เป็นการรอคอยวันที่ดีกว่า นอกจากผลงานที่มีสุนทรียศาสตร์ที่มีเอกลักษณ์เป็นของตัวเอง นิทรรศการนี้ยังคงตั้งคำถามต่อผู้ชมถึงความหมายของบ้านอีกด้วย
