The data from Bangkok Air Quality Monitoring Station in April 2022, shown that the average PM2.5 in Bangkok exceeded the standard, with 49 areas where particulate matter directly affects health. Especially in Wang Thonglang, Phasi Charoen and Bang Kapi districts, while most other areas are at the starting level that affects health. This will affect first people with allergies. However, the problem of dust has not yet been resolved by law. In addition, many organizations, entrepreneurs and the general public are not alert and change their lifestyles to be environmentally friendly.
HUMAN for AIR: The Human Library, organized under the movement ART for AIR group. ART for AIR is the exhibition for Breathing, communicating the issue of air pollution in a wide range through artistic and cultural activities.

ข้อมูลจากสถานีตรวจวัดคุณภาพอากาศกรุงเทพ ในเดือนเมษายน 2565 แสดงให้เห็นว่าค่าเฉลี่ยของฝุ่นละออง PM2.5 ในกรุงเทพเกินจากค่ามาตรฐาน โดยมี 49 พื้นที่ ที่เกิดฝุ่นละอองอันส่งผลต่อสุขภาพโดยตรง โดยเฉพาะในเขตวังทองหลาง เขตภาษีเจริญ และเขตบางกะปิ ตามลำดับ ส่วนพื้นที่อื่น ๆ ส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในระดับเริ่มมีผลต่อสุขภาพ ซึ่งจะส่งผลกระทบต่อผู้ที่มีอาการภูมิแพ้เป็นลำดับแรก ทั้งนี้ปัญหาฝุ่นละอองยังไม่ได้รับการแก้ไขด้วยกฎหมาย อีกทั้งองค์กร ผู้ประกอบการ และประชาชนทั่วไปจำนวนมากที่ไม่ได้ตื่นตัวและปรับเปลี่ยนวิถีชีวิตให้เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
HUMAN for AIR: ห้องสมุดมนุษย์ จึงจัดขึ้นภายใต้การเคลื่อนไหวของกลุ่ม ART for AIR: นิทรรศการเพื่อลมหายใจ อันเป็นตัวกลางในการสื่อสารประเด็นมลภาวะทางอากาศในวงกว้างผ่านกิจกรรมทางศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม
โดยผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมจะได้สื่อสารและแลกเปลี่ยนประเด็นปัญหาและแนวทางแก้ไขมลภาวะทางอากาศในกิจกรรมห้องสมุดมนุษย์ (Human Library) ผ่านการอ่านหนังสือมีชีวิต (Living book) ซึ่งก็คือผู้คนที่หลากหลายอันเปรียบเป็นหนังสือแต่ละเล่ม ที่เล่าถึงประเด็นทางมลภาวะอากาศที่แตกต่างกัน
ซึ่งกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้เปิดโอกาสให้ประชาชนทุกคนได้เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมได้ทั้งเป็นผู้ถูกอ่านในห้องสมุดมนุษย์ (Human Library) และผู้อ่าน (Reader) โดยไม่จำกัดเพศ อายุ สัญชาติ อาชีพ และแนวความคิด เพื่อให้เกิดกระบวนการมีส่วนร่วมจากประชาชนทุกภาคส่วน เพื่อสนับสนุนให้อากาศสะอาดเป็นสิทธิของทุกคน

Interactive activity
Participants will communicate and exchange issues and solutions for air pollution in the Human Library activities through the Living book, which is a diverse collection of people. Each book telling about different air pollution issues.
This activity provides an opportunity for all to participate, both being read in the Human Library and Reade, regardless of gender, age, nationality, occupation and concept. To create a process of participation from people from all sectors and to promote clean air as everyone's right.
