Xuan Tian Shang Di Shrine is one of the sacred spaces in Samyan that was erected before WW II. The paradigm shift and urban sprawl in 21st C force the shrine to reconsider their own social position. Diversities of opinions, races, and cultures keep increasing. This artwork represents the shrine struggling in the liminal time.

ศาลเจ้าพ่อเสือ (เฮี่ยงเทียนเสี่ยงตี่ ในภาษาแต่จิ๋ว หรือ สวนเทียนซ่างตี้ในภาษาจีนกลาง) เป็นสักการะสถานแห่งหนึ่งในสามย่านซึ่งสร้างมาตั้งแต่ก่อนสงครามโลกครั้งที่สอง ความเปลี่ยนแปลงของความคิดและเมืองที่โตอย่างไร้ระบบในศตวรรษที่ 21 ทำให้ศาลแห่งนี้ต้องทบทวนบทบาททางสังคมตนเองเสียใหม่ที่คนมีความหลากหลายมากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ ทั้งด้านความคิด เชื้อชาติ และวัฒนธรรม ผลงานชิ้นนี้มุ่งนำเสนอศาลในห้วงเวลาแห่งการเปลี่ยนผ่าน
